Because it was easier to copy and paste. Regardless, chances are that stoner will be replaced as the majority of voters would rather have a bolt action rifle.

Bah, i want a full auto snipr with no recoil and a big f*** telescopic sight that i can camp from miles away with camoflauge and a rhino sat next to me while i take out my ultra 1337 aut sniper pistol with one hit kill and pop every muthaf*cker in the place out. /whinge
-------------------- This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

damn are you just following ryker and saying shit to him? w/e, anyways, it definitely seems we are going to have bolt action, but i like the semi auto action, cause if bolt action doesnt kill in one hit, its just as ineffective as .44s&w. (not flaming s&w, i personally just dont like it.)

The lr300 isnt a sniper rifle, its a modded m4 carbine... They sell conversion kits more than real rifles... It seems like you're just basing this off of looks and not what the gun really is

Rofl. How can u buy a conversion kit more than the gun :S. I said, they sell conversion kits to convert an m4 carbine into an lr300 more than they actually sell their LR300. Most likely because its cheaper to buy a bushmaster m4 and the conversion kit than it costs to buy the ZMLR300 straight, although the ZM reciever is higher quality than the bushmaster reciever.

Possible replacements (note that all are bolt action):
Remington 710: An economical, accurate, and reliable hunting rifle. Quite common. (7.62mm I think) Springfield 1903: WWI-era infantry rifle. Powerful and accurate, with that nostalgic feel. A 1903-based weapon would be FAR more common than an LR300. (7.92mm I think) AWP: Would attract a lot of CS fans, despite the fact that in CS, AWPers often camp & whore and rarely attempt to complete objectives. But, for all that, it is an extremely accurate and durable weapon. However, the AE version is cheaper and more widely used by law enforcement, so the AE would be more common. (.338 Magnum) M40A1: Standard US Military sniper rifle. Very tough, accurate, and obviously, very common too. This would be my choice for a Stoner replacement. (7.62mm) EDIT: SVD is semi-auto. D'oh!! |
