I once again, don't know if this has been suggested before ...
I was thinking that the Current sniper weapon in BB should be replaced with a better sniper rifle such as the military's anti-vehicle rifle known as the Barret M82A1, this should balance out its replacement, Power for Ammo in Mag.  This would be a major help incase you need to help your friends out from a distance, this isn't just for a better weapon, its for blowing the undead into chunks of bits and pieces. This would also protect it from being obused as many ppl can't find the sniper rifles on some maps, aswell as the Required XP to use it. |

Its been suggested a few times BUT i would think a powerful bolt action rifle would be pretty good. It would balance it out, you have extreme range but the sacrifice is a long-ish reload time and time taken between each shot.

Wrong, you need only two points into the skill stat in order to wield the sniper rifle. And in addition the sniper rifle is not always hidden and once one person finds it, then everyone will end up knowing where it is in due time. Neither of those would balance the increase in power the M82 would bring. Also, in the general forum, the bolt action rifle is leading the semi-auto sniper rifle for replacing the Stoner. While that thread and poll is unofficial, a substantial (80-90%) of voters are behind the bolt action rifle. -------------------- BB Maps I've made...

hey guys instead of using the 50 ever other god damned game has made one like it but what about some thing like this
*300 win mag *338 *308 or just make it like a 510 nitro mag or if ur going to use 50 but im probly one of few who would wather have somehtingy over than a 50 as my many sniper rifle but just my apanoin |

It's going to be bolt action,the winchester is already nicely accurate and one shit kills,so hehe,a sniper rifle = more frags

I would say weapons like M82 barret,hecate II etc. are too big weapons to shoot while standing still. Would be more realistic to have somekind of sniper rifle that cops/special forces use. My suggestions are:
 US Army M24 (USA) Caliber: 7.62x51mm NATO (.308 win) Operation: Bolt Action Feed: 5-Round internal magazine Weight: 5.49 kg empty without telescope Length: 1092mm Sights: 10x42 Leupold Ultra M3A telescope sight (Mil-Dots), plus detachable emergency iron sights. Actually I feel that the "light-fifty" would be a great sniper replacement, if coded properly. You could fire it from a standing or crouched position while it still being accurate for the first shot, but the recoil would throw it off by an insane amount. The best way to fire it would be with it deployed on a set of sandbags or a similar sized object *OR* prone, if they wanted to code that in, and while it had the bipod set up the accuracy would be realistic for something with a bipod (I.E. it would be more jostle than huge jump upwards).
