Ok I have added map models in my level using the cycler entity. The thing is that they block movement and bullets, I want them to not do that. For example , I have a bush model if the zombie is behind it and I shoot at it with a gun the bush squirts out blood and the zombie is unharmed. If i want to walk through the middle of the bush I get stopped by the entity box. Anyone know how to avoid this? I know I can edit the fgd to limit the size of the entity to minimalize the movement blocking but is there a way to remove the hitbox from the model?

Do you use cycler or cycler_sprite to add models? I can't get cycler_sprite to work, it crashes hammer when I specify a .mdl file, so I use cycler

it crashes hammer if you have any models in your hammer directory setup (e.g. c:\hammer\models\) so hammer will try to render them

In hammer, when you place a cycler entity it puts a little flatshaded rectangular box to mark where it is. In the game that box is invisible but you can shoot it and it blocks movement. Also when the model has an animation, if you shoot it, it will change animations. I don't know what you mean by having models in the hammer directory Jobabob, I don't have any models in my hammer directory.

Jobabob told me to use env_sprite with for models but it crashes hammer aswell.....

cycler for me doesnt clip.
im very suprised it does for you lot as even hl model dont clip you have to add clip brush/es to clip the player/monsters

It depends on the model im using...in my trees it blows the trunk and branches but not the leaves...I dont have a problem with bullets going through...thats just him.

I don't use cycler anymore, I use cycler_sprite. Fixes all of my problems.
