I installed this mod, but it wants orginal hl as well. Okay, so I installed that too, but hl will not run in win2000, so I can't run the mod either. Anyone know where I can get a patch to make hl run in win2000? I can get to the starter screen,'start new game', but then it asks me to put in the HL cd, which I do. It keeps asking for the cd even though it's in. Then, it says 'unable to validate HL.' I've registered this with a proper serial number so I don't know what to do. I've already got HL2 installed and now I have to install HL1 as well, just to run this mod?

Brain Bread is a Half Life 1 mod, it will not run with Half Life Source, it will not run with Half Life 2. You need both STEAM and HL1 in order to play BB...
