Running on my servers, map will autodownload.

Couple things, the res file, I always make my own, goes in the maps folder.
You need to manually add to the res file the .tsk and .txt, but do not add the .bsp or the .res, it is added on my download.

You need to clip off the trees and such as they are not solid, use the wad file hlbasics.wad for the right texture, I recommend wood so it gives off the right chips, render amout 0 render setting texture, other than that not bad.

Getting the ocasional no free edits, try removing some entities, extra bushs etc to help with that

Well Shotgun as you know it does do the no free error quite a bit, You got Xfire? Mines GaMeRT1 if you do add me, ill start the server and ill tell you everything that goes wrong, Normally if i got an error that many times, id say screw it and never play the map again-.-' but this map, its an exception, its pwnage! the last time it crashed i was on the motor boat and i had just went by freds house, and under the waterfall Write back soon

Thanks for everything overlord! Ok, I just realized that having an extra player doubles the amount of viewable entities during the game, I'm gonna rip out most of the unneccesary entities. Clipping the trees isn't really possible as I have run into max_map_clipnodes... and I have clipped most of the complex geometry in the map. I'll probably have this all done in a day or two. And it'll be beta2.

I can't reproduce the no free edicts error alone, I'm working on it right now. I've removed quite a few unneeded ents, but I have no idea how many more I need to remove... Do you use windows or linux Gamer?

I have a 1.99ghz processer and 512mb ram and a geforce 5200fx 256mb and it did it that quick sad.gif

It doesn't matter what kind of computer you have, it matters how many entities the half-life engine can see at one time.

From the Tommy of Escondido website

I wish I knew what the limits of Brainbread were... I have around 520 entities in the map now.

Anyways, I just reduced the amount of entities by about 30% in beta2. I hope this will help.
