Well, I drew an image for invitation card of 20th anniversary of my mother's friend's bar last year. (I recieved 3000 Japanese Yen, about 30$ in US.) But other than that, no. I'm not working commercially with my art currently. Like I drew a cover art for an Italian indie band called ESDEM for free. SDWBOSS, I think many of us don't understand English. We study English as a subject of school. So we know English and understand a bit. But when it comes to conversation, most of us are not able to catch a word. Even they understand what you say, some of them hesitate to speak English. Afraid to make mistake. I do speak English a bit though. Yes, Japanese is difficult. "what - is - your - name" should be "your - name - is - what" in Japanese. Chinese has more similar composition than Japanese, I think. I can help about Japanese. Post your questions here on my website. gordon_frohman, Don't worry, I draw misformed things too. I always try to draw correct noses, or any other body parts. As Zombie said "if you keep drawing you'll get good at it..." Zombie, I got bored all the time in the classes of my school. I still draw pictures in the classes of the university. (Of course I don't forget to listen teacher's words and nod my head) mallic, /me says thank you mallic Guys, I made a survey. -draw this oek!- but DON'T VOTE YET! Ok, I think I've got an idea.
Imagine a sea of zombies in front, crowding round some sort of house or cave. There is a man loading his revolver in there, getting ready to shoot. The "camera" should be behind him, looking where he is looking - towards the entry to the house/cave and viewing the masses of undead rapidly aproaching. In the foreground, the gun is in his hand, and you see he only has 1 bullet left... Ah Same here.. but not most of my classes. I'm planning on taking Sketch and Art next year, so I can improve my drawing skills. I used to draw a lot, and I've kept some pictures on my notebook But still, your drawings beat mine to the bone. hmmm did the same thing yesterday. except i play legend of zelda ocarina of time during class... was english so its a subject im more then skilled in. ( GAMES FTW ! ) i swear, games have taught me more english then the english teachers -------------------- |

gordon_frohman, is gordon froman HL2 comic gordon froman? That sounds fun to draw. Zombie, it seems not small amount of people draw pictures during the classes. I want to see your notebook. My notebook of 2005/2006 is here. You can see Gordon "Freeman" in there. I also read books in the classes when I was a junior high school student sometimes. That tought me Japanese a bit. But I don't play Japanese games so games didn't teach me Japanese. Instead of that, I play games of other countries, most of them was in English. So, yes, games have taught me more english than the english teachers. I thought this usage of "then" instead of "than" was somekind of dialect. Like words "preservation" and "conservation" has opposite meaning in some countries. I forgot the details, but one of my teacher taught us that usage of these words in America is different from Europe, as architectural preservation term.
