New Zombie Sight, Sprite idea and another

My idea is to change the zombie sight (Where you see a human from a distance) to an organ sprite, something like this.

Also, perhaps warmth coming off the bodies to give an outline of a human shape.
Zombies are meant to know who's who from the body tempature,

zombies = Cold
Humans = Warm

My other idea is:

When turning into a zombie, your camera moves out of control (like the 3rd person spaz attack), Eye sight goes blurred and your aim becomes expanded and your movement becomes slower.
This gives the feeling that you are dying and turning, once you turn this all slowly goes away.

I wonder if that could be animated. I know that the last thing you want to do is gawk at the sprite while your buddies are shooting you but just a suggestion.
