help! when i run brainbread after installing v1.2 i can only access 1 map (unofficial campaign chapter 1 meckelburg). what is wrong? my specs are 1.7ghz 256mb ram 32mb nvidia. thanx

Have you checked the BB/maps folder to verify that the maps are there?
Are you getting an error and getting kicked from servers?
Are you starting Steam and picking BB as a Third Party mod?

i don't have steam installed, but i can still run that map only perfectly well. other maps don't show up when i try to create a lan game. all the map files are in the maps folder as well. i wonder why other maps can't run? help is greatly appreciated. thanx

my school has a very restrictive firewall and i can't access steam. what would be other ways to play BB on LAN without steam? please help

Play it at your house....im betting you could get suspended/expelled for even downloading something let alone installing it....at least around here...so I would uninstall it from that computer and well Half-Life hasnt worked without steam for like a year so yeah just get steam...
