Officer Dayne Matthews muttered somthing unintelligable has he reached back into his ammo pouch, and found it empty.The clip he was looking for was in his gun, empty.
"Ah shi-"
A dismembered child reached across the police car/barricade.
He pulled his baton out of its holster, he tried one last time to reason with it.
"Stop! You dont have to do this, we can find help!"
The thing/child slashed at him, he savagly beat it.

Things wernt going much better for the rest of the members of the barricade, the things took clip after clip and didnt fall, you could seem to kill them, Rodriguez was the only one having luck, pulling off headshot after headshot, but she only had two clips, 30 of them fell.

Then from the recievers on their soldiers came the orders.
"ALL UNITS AT ALL BARRICADES RETURN TO ACPD ASAP!!"

Following Rodriguez, Dayne hopped into the car, he barely shut the door in time has one of the things tried to get at the meat of his exposed arm.

They managed to get turned around and onto highway 55, they were on theyre way to the ACPD.
