i have just bought myself an original copy of HL1 just too play BB!
When i started the installation of HL1 it wanted me to install it in c:...\sierra\half life but i changed it to c:\program files\valve\steam\steamapps\username\half-life. after that i istalled BB in \username\half-life folder. But when i tried to start it by looking for some server i got a messages that my BB version was out of date and i neede to dl an update. (same thing happend when i tried to look for servers in HL1) It returns to windows where i get an sierre update which says i have version 1.1.0.8. and after searching it says that i have the latest version. then why wont it start? an other thing that seems strange is that the HL game and BB DONT show up in the steam menu. why is that. i thought they would end up there since its played thrue steam. can someone please help me. i only bought HL to play BB so please someone... HELP ME!! kind regards fudoh |

You need to register HL1 with Steam.
Open Steam, click "Browse Games", click on the "Register a product I already own" button, enter the HL1 CD key. If BB doesnt appear after that, restart Steam. I think that'll fix it. --------------------  Shoot first, or forever hold your peace. |
