all the time i want to play multiplayer, when im pressing internet games it wants to uppdate. i uppdates, when its done it says this version of half-life is out of date. WHAT THE **** DO THAT MEAN!?!?, ive tryed to play sven coop. its the same. what is wrong!?!?!  I need some help. Thanks For Helping!! ______________ | | | || | |_____________| |

uhhhhh. ive allready got steam. and i have registered HL1, ive gotr HL1 and all that. just it still not working!!!

Try uninstalling hl1+all its mods, then reinstall hl1. Then go strait to updating it hl1 and see if it works from there.

your .blob and .gcf's are corrupt. Go into you steam folder, delete:
ClientRegistry.blob Then go into the SteamApps folder, delete: delete all the .gcf's of the games that aren't working for you. -------------------- |
