Ok, this is a post mainly about all those "poll for go to source" things. The development teams made this as a FUN mod, a GOODBYE to half-life, not a WELCOME to source so that it would get ported over. They made it for FREE.
Now they are doing a RPG to actually earn money. They dont have much spare time left (maybe for a Hl BB update once in a while) to make a completely new game that needs a lot of coding, mapping, skinning, modelling and more. So please, for the love of Zombies STOP MAKING POLLS! |

They can earn money from source....Valve has said that you can sell your source mod retail and you don't have to license it or w/e with them and pay them money.

I don't think this was up to you to say it, nor' does it contain proper facts.

I am just following up the fact that there has been at least four "BRAINBREAD FOR SOURCE POLL"s and every single one of them is closed.
So I dont think that is the way of convincing Ironoak to make BB source. From what I have seen, it looks like IronOak is busy with a new RPG, so I understood it the way that they have pretty much to do for the moment. |

I'm not all that fussed on a BB:S, although it would be great, because i would much rather play the RPG they're making.

Ok, let me run down what i've said for the past couple months everytime has requested source: BB source is highley unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/orcreate polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

-------------------- There are a few reasons I don't visit the forums as often as I used to, they are as follows: 1) I really don't have a lot of time. 2) My hardrive is failing 3) The forums honestly frustrate me to a point I cannot stand it, I've tried to help, I've tried to set people straight, but apparently, the health of these forums only matters to a few people. Thats just sad, most of us have grown along with these forums and along BB and frankly its disgusting to see the way you guys act sometimes... until you pull your acts together, don't expect to see me around much. WHERE IS MY DELETE POST FUNCTION!? |
