Ok, I'm gonna need a beta tester. I'll release the map to said person whenever I want them to try something. Like now, I'll have them tell me how the fire ring looks, just little things in the map. Anyone want to?

Well, what render mode are you using for the tree? If you're using the texture render mode, change it to solid so it won't show up as being all-bright in-game. That way you don't have to change the actual texture.

Another thing that you could do is use the cycler to load a tree model. But that's if you know you won't be getting close to the epoly limits due to tons of zombies.

Ok, I'll change it to solid. I thought that would have the blue show up. I have put in a stream. It's blocky now, but I plan to make it more realistic later.

Sure, I'd be glad to help out.

Well, you probably only want to use the texture render mode when making glass pr water objects. It'll always render it in an all-bright state. Once changed to solid, the object should be affected by light entities.

Yes, but I can't figure out how to use BB skyboxes. I will at least use the nighttime sky for HL1. Since this is only about 50% done to the first beta release, I just decided to figure the sky out last

I've made a pre alpha version that all I need to do is fix the sky then Shoot Me and I can test it. You can't get to the town in the pre alpha, but I'm gonna start working on the town soon.
