I installed BB and played for a couple hours, worked fine. Later on I told my Hubby about how kick a$$ this game is and he installed it on his Steam Account. We run off a router because my cable company doesn't offer additional IP's, which is OK by me because who wants to pay if it's not required, right?
I don't know if that could be the problem.
When I load BB and go to 'options', it crashes to my desktop. When I go to 'Find a server' it locks up. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and the same thing is happening. All I know is I love this game, I got a taste of it, and I can't play!!!
Please , can anyone help a poor girl out?

I don't have any experience with such a problem. Spinator may know a solution, but he's learning until today, I think he might post later this week.

Hi, I don't know what causes this bug. Does it only happen in BB or all HL mods? Then only problem I've seen that might be similiar to this one: http://www.ironoak.ch/forums/index.php?showtopic=2415

Actually I get no message on my PC and this only happens in BB. I also play Oz Deathmatch and it has no hitches, but the mod has been out for quite a few years now.
In BB, when I connect to game, it just freezes up and nothing else happens. Takes me 5 minutes to end program.THe other PC is working fine with the game, so it's not the router... it's not my PC. I don't have access to play on that one.
I still get booted to the desktop when I go to options.
Either way, I can't play and the game is SO fun. Does anyone have any ideas?
I don't understand why reinstalling didn't work. Could Steam have cookies saved or something which may still be reading off the old ones and causing BB to crash?
It just doens't make sense that I was able to play when I initially installed the game for the first time

Hm, maybe manually deleting the BB folder works.

Try reinstalling. Sorts alot of probs out .

Reinstalling does no good either. I think I'll just wait for the update and try it again then. =(

hey how do u get brain bread to work in offline mode? i can create a game in offline mode on LAN but when my friends try to join it says on their computer SteamID ERROR and we're in the same room on local area network. i have the client full version do i have to have the server full version and do i always have to be online to play brain bread?

Sounds like a PC problem. If you can run it fine off the other PC, your PC must have something incompatable. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date and try running BB 3D rendering in software mode (open BB, options, video etc)
