Here's a tactic I use for all maps: If you are 6 inches above or below a zombie's hands, you will not get hit. Zombies are too stupid to aim up or down, or to step over curbs, or to step off drops, etc.

Come on, they're dead beings. They defy all laws of nature just by existing, not to speak about walk and talk (kind of ) hence they shouldn't be able of doing much mure than stand there and moan.
You're expecting too much from them...

i dont know if some one has said this earlier in this topic but.
pump shoutgun rules when you shoot it RIGHT!
and the minigun can kill about 100 zombies. (50 at least)
and if you are so dumb that you waste all mini ammo in a zombies belly then suit yourself.

dual pistols are far more accurate than usual pistols.
the uziz are running low on ammo quik, but if you shoot at the right spot (learn it) then their dead in two shots.

LEARN to use all weapons.
before i always used sawed winch N glock.
now i use all weapons exept ak and colt. i dont know how to handle em .

Yah but... Isn't ONE (not the main point) of the points of zombie games/movies to make it seem real? I'm sure most of the directors try to make the movies as real as possible so it will be more scary.

1)The inertia and velocity of a round does not necessarily make it good at stopping someone in their tracks.What is more important is how much energy is transferred to the target, which relates to mass,size and energy(in joules).
Example: A 9mm magnum will overpenetrate a human body.A .50 Magnum will in most cases hit some bone and if not cause severe trauma to the hit location, so size does matter.

2).40 Magnum is more powerful than the .375 magnum, due to the larger width and higher mass of the projectile.

3)iIt is impossible to fire a minigun while standing.The recoil is 30 kilos of constant pressure going against you at chest height.
Even if you could hold it properly, you would be shooting all over the place.

4)Never compare rifles to pistols.Rifles fire medium calibre rounds at high velocities.
Pistols fire largish calibre rounds at lower velocities, but the weight and size is larger than a rifle (in most cases).
Firing a rifle at close range will in most cases kill very quickly, due to the sheer shock caused by the round going through the target's body at such a high speed.
Seeing as it'S zombies we're up against, a pistol would be more effective while on the move, whereas a rifle would be more effective at picking teh zombies off from a distance, while in a very secure location.

5)Never pull crap about guns out yer asses while I'm around

after reading all of the replies (which have some very good points) they still don't answer one of my question, whats the different between the stoner and the winchester in the game. i mean, the winchester and the stoner can kill zombies w/ on hit on the head. why have two one hit kills weapons in the game when the stoner is clearly better (with its higher ammo cap. and scope)

What kind of bolt-action? Mosin-Nagant? K98?

Springfield 1911..... i believe, i wish it was the winchester 1917 hunting rifle, one of the best rifles evar made..... i still have my grandfathers and it shoots better then some other brand new guns!
