Hey, I've enjoyed this mod for a while, and at the moment it's probably my most-played half-life mod period. So, being the bizzare person, I decided to write some poetry about it. Since it's hard to devote an entire thread to one poem or even a couple of poems, if anyone has some zombie poetry they'd like to share they can post it here. After all, if there's any literary theme that has yet to be explored, it's that of the zombie. To start it off, here are two poems I wrote:

(begin bongo drums)

What are we to do?

Red sun eclipsed by low grey horizon; the clouds
Cross over one another in varying shades of
orange. The sky is a saturated purple flag,
symbolically flying; black crows are sillouetted.
In the distance, zombies.

Shotgun

My protector is a thing of beauty; it glints
a smile of stainless steel out of the corner of my eye. My
protector.
On swollen ankles and silent, broken
haunches they stare, eyes unmoving. They
move, unhurried.
They too see it.
My protector.
Too young to understand.

Edit i think you should get rid of the shotgun title and merge them into one because it sounded better when i read it as one

same the incease really gave it a kick (take lit blunt of out mouth and passes it to hunter)

Nah, not Haikus. I forget the exact english-translatable format, three lines with a specific number of syllables each; but nah, just freeform. Although they sortof read like them, especially the first one.

Again, anyone with any zombie poetry, whatever the type, post it here. Hopefully we can make this an ongoing thread.
