Hello. This story is is based off of the game of Warcraft III. Yes most of it is in part of the game. No, I'm just retelling the story. Here goes...
In another world, a peaceful race of Orcs wandered its lands, hunting and gathering as peaceful, simple folk do. Nothing seemed to go wrong, but when the demons began appearing, everything changed. One of the demons, Kil'Jaeden offered a land to conquer. A land called Azeroth. Azeroth was on another world and was just a continent. The others were Lordaeron, Khaz Modan, Quel'Thalas, Northrend, and Kalimdor. The Orc leader and master shaman, Ner'Zhul, refused the offer, but when his young, misguided apprentice, Gul'Dan, accepted, the Orcs were turned into bloodthirsty creatures who seeked to conquer everything they found. The other world started to see strange creatures in their lands. When the Orcs suddenly attacked, all hell broke loose. The leaders of the other world made an alliance, called the Human Alliance, formed from dwarves, humans, and elves, and defended their world from the Orcish Hordes. They found a portal, the Dark Portal, from which the orcs were coming from. They destroyed the portal and thought the war was over. A couple of years later, the Orc Hordes were back and found a way to open Dark Portals all over the world. The Alliance decided that if they needed to defeat the orcs, they would have to go through one of the Dark Portals. Upon entering, they saw Draenor, the Red World. Hearing the needs of renegade orcs, they made a short pact with one of the orcish clans. The leader of the clan told them to steal an artifact that another clan had and in return, told them how to destroy the portals. The deal was completed, and the way to destroy the portals was told. A group of selfless heroes decided they would destroy the portals from Draenor, to trap themselves inside that world forever. Ner'Zhul decided that in order to escape the demon Kil'Jaeden's control, he would need to escape to Azeroth. He stole some human artifacts and reopened the portal, but the very fabric of Draenor was being destroyed. All of the orc clans panicked and ran towards the Dark Portal. Only a few clans made it, and the portal and the world, was ripped apart. Upon entering, Ner'Zhul was encountered by the demon Kil'Jaeden and was ripped apart, while his spirit was kept intact by the demon. After that, Kil'Jaeden locked Ner'Zhul in a frozen prison in Northrend, the Icy Continent. Kil'Jaeden told Ner'Zhul that if the Orc does his bidding, he will give him a new body. Ner'Zhul eagerly accepted. Kil'Jaeden gave him the new name, the Lich King. He says that he has been working on a plague to turn the humans, dwarves, and elves into undead creatures, binding them to the Lich King's mind and will do anything in his bidding. He tested it on a human encampment near what we call his icy prison, the Frozen Throne. No one survived. The Nerubians, a native spider race was immune to the plague, and tried to defeat Ner'Zhul. Knowing that every time one of their soldiers die, they become undead. So the Nerubians decided to go into hiding after Ner'Zhul raised their former emporors from the dead. Meanwhile, he sends his minions to sneakily transfer the plague into ricefields into the continent of Lordaeron, where he will find his next container... Arthas Menethil, a young prince of Lordaeron, awaits his assignment from his master, the war hero Paladin, Uther the Lightbringer, will give. He tells him that the orcs have been planning a raid on a nearby human encampment. Uther plans to find the orc encampment so he lets Arthas defend the village. Arthas patiently trotted to the village and when he finally got there, the village was almost fully raided and everyone almost dead. He got there too late, but managed to save some. A group of humans were captured, but Arthas was determined to bring them back. He got to Uther about a couple of hours later and he explained the village was almost destroyed. Uther also found the orcish base. He asked Arthas if he could go destroy the orc base. Arthas, upon entering, saw the orc Chieftain, sacraficing humans for a said "Demon Master". Angrily, Arthas razed the encampment and destroyed every last orc., and finally found the evil bloodthirsty orcs. Meanwhile, a an unkown wizard tries to spread the knowledge of the coming Plague, but no one will listen. The master wizard and leader of the city Dalaran, Antonidas, sends his young apprentice, Jaina Proudmoore, to the young prince to investigate this so-called Plague. Jaina and Arthas used to be together, but an affair and gossip led to their breaking up. When they met, they explored the region and found undead wreaking havoc upon an unsuspecting town. Arthas and party managed to defeat the undead, and a necromancer, Kel'Thuzad, left a group of them to hold them back. One of which was a Frankenstein type monster, sewned of different body parts. Arthas manages to defeat it, but is angry that the Necromancer escaped. They chase after the Necromancer, finding undead bases all throughout Lordaeron. When they finally caught up, Arthas killed the Necromancer. Kel'Thuzad tells him that a Dreadlord, a vampiric creature, is holding the strings. His name, Mal'Ganis. Arthas finds a human encampment, looking at the people training to become soldiers. He then sees crates that have been emptied. He asks one of the instructors what was in those. He says "Rice, Milord. It has been fed to all of the villagers." Arthas has been afraid of this. Right before his eyes the villagers started to become zombies. He and other soldiers who haven't eaten the rice, destroyed the forsaken zombies, and was warned that a gigantic horde of undead was about to come at them. Arthas sent Jaina to get Uther for reinforcements. Arthas, 5 days later, almost hope-ridden, was then aided by Uther after a long battle with the undead. After that, they wandered into a town where Mal'Ganis was going to strike. Arthas said that the whole town has eaten grain and he needs to kill them all to try to save their souls and stop them from becoming slaves of the Dreadlord. Uther said he was mad, and wouldn't do such a thing, and Arthas relieved him of his duty. Uther said he was a making a mistake, ran towards the castle of King Terenas, Arthas's father, and telling him what Arthas was doing. Jaina followed after. Arthas kill some of his villagers, and then Mal'Ganis introduced himself. The race began. Who was going to get all the villagers? Arthas or Mal'Ganis? In the end, Arthas killed most of his people and Mal'Ganis ran to the Lich King, telling Arthas to follow. Arthas did follow to Northrend. Setting up a base, he noticed that a bunch of dwarves were holed up in a small encampment. Arthas recognized one of them, Muradin Bronzebeard. Muradin taught Arthas about weapons, and Arthas learned like he was already a master. Muradin told Arthas of a powerful forged blade called Frostmourne, and thats why he was there. He wanted to get Frostmourne. Arthas agreed that it was the only way to stop Mal'Ganis and decided to venture there. A week later, soldiers were told that ships were going back to Lordaeron, and ran towards the ships. Arthas decided that in order to get revenge on his people, he would need to destroy the ships to stop the people from escaping. He hired mercenaries that lived in Northrend and destroyed all the ships. When the last ship was almost destroyed, the soldiers saw the mercenaries attacking it. Arthas said that the mercenaries destroyed the ships and everyone angrily destroyed them. Muradin said that Arthas was becoming evil. Arthas didn't care. All he wanted was the thirst for revenge. When they got near the encampment of Mal'Ganis, Muradin Arthas sensed the sword was near. They made a party of soldiers and went for the blade. Arthas saw a Revenant, an undead creature that has escaped the powerful clutch of the Lich King and was guarding the sword. When Arthas and his party defeated the Revenant, he said that he was protecting the you from the sword. When Arthas saw the sword, Muradin read the inscriptions. He said that the sword was cursed, and wanted to get out of there. Arthas on the other hand, took the sword and offered anything just to get it. The sword was frozen in a block of ice, and when Arthas smashed the ice, he got the sword, but a shard flew out and killed Muradin. Arthas returned, saying that Muradin was killed by the Revenant. After destroying the undead base, Mal'Ganis and Arthas was on a showdown. Mal'Ganis asked Arthas if he heard something. Arthas agreed. Mal'Ganis said "Do you hear it? What does he say?" Arthas said "He said I can finally have my revenge." He then slew Mal'Ganis, and wandered Northrend for a few months, leaving his base and others to die. Upon returning home, he went to his father's castle, and bowed down to the King. He then came up and slew his father. The coming of the dead has begun. Arthas, Whispering: You no longer have to sacrafice for your people...You no longer have to bear the weight of your crown... I've taken care of everything... (Goes up to the king and holds him by the throat) King Terenas: What is this? What are you doing, my son? Arthas: Succeeding you, father. (Shoves Frostmourne through his throat) Arthas: This kingdom shall fall, and from the ashes, shall arise a new order, that will shake the very foundation of the world! Ouch, my eyes! Please set the story into different paragraphs as it would be easier on our eyes.
![]() -------------------- ![]() (1) I like to beat women. (2) I like to beat babies (3) I like to beat women while beating babies (4). I like to watch women beat their babies...and then I beat the women. |
