I took an opportunity between tasks and stepped out side onto a balcony leading from my residential apartment. The cold wind bit at my skin like icy knifes, forcing me to draw my coat tightly around me. The snow was still coming down, nearly in blizzard conditions. A note arrived at my side via the tubes. I didnt need to open it to know that it said we couldnt launch today. I would not be able to save toughs poor souls up in colony one. I stared out at the white landscape before me. The white trees casting an eerie gay across the blinding white snow in the rising sun of a new morning. Sighing I turned back to the warmth of the indoors.
