when ever i play bb i always lag on every server can some one help or tell me what i should do ?

512 ram 2.13 ghz and i have a nvdia fx 5500 o and my operating system is windows xp

Maybe you´re running some applications like Antivir or Filesharing programs in the background.

thats what i think is going on but when i go to task manager and the to process to end the stuff in the backround im scared i'll end some of the other dtuff that i need for my computer. so if i were to end all that crap would i end the things that are in system or jeff?

Ah i hadn´t meant the antivir i meant the software firewall. You shouldn´t end the applications of the system in the task manager (but it hink you know).

i changed the internet peed under settings on steam to lan/t1 and my latency went down to 56 no more lag
