You are grounded, like...every two days or something?
Nothing to feel guilty about. As long as you return long enough to make a post or two before going off it's fine with me wink.gif

Get back soon!

Shall I put a vial's worth of zombie infection in their water supply? I'll call Chace, tell him to wait the zombie plague out on the roof of his house, then we'll pick him up by helicopter.

Is anyone really okay in here? I've been here for wuite a while, I've seen as good as every member make posts about big problems in their lives. At first I was pretty shocked at how big the problems seemed to be, and how it could be that almost everyone was feeling a bit down.

Now in the late months things have been spiralling down for me as well...I've been depressed, crying more than usual, I've felt very cold emotionally. At times I've inflicted pain to myself to just see that I could still feel anything. My best friend, the one I cre the most about in thwe whole world, has been severely depressed, she has acutally tried killing herself twice. Her arms are real messed up from cutting. I guess it has infected me or something.

So I'm going to repeat my question: Do we have an Ironoak member not going through problems, not feeling sad at the moment?

lol you live in a repetitive world known as earth and that is enough to bring anyone down. (and to those of you whome may be aliens and not actually living on this planet, BEAM ME UP SCOTTIE happy.gif)

and as to answer your question, aside from being clinicly insane I'm fine. (I say this because i have a strong urge to kill everything at my school and rip their intestines out and make them eats them do to the lack of intelligence where I live)

I too am going through a low right now. Not depression or anything, but I'm just a lot more downtrodden than usual. I also have a cold, which doesn't help much.

I'm going through a bit of a low-stage at the moment, but that's been going on for a year now and so much has happened to me, I'm just getting on with things.

The reason behind everyone seeming low could be seasonal depression - it's pretty much what it says on the package, the affected people suffering from mood changes with the season. Apparently, people suffer from depression in winter because of the lack of daylight :S

If anyone's an actual councillor, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Viking

You ask tough questions mate smile.gif Its a rough kinda time for everyone, the christmas season, for me i'm a bit 'bah humbug' about all the BS and commersialism that goes on around this time of year. All the same damn christmas songs that have been played every fookin xmas for the last 20 years. It depresses the hell out of me. Everyone wandering around trying to be full of christmas cheer, i don't know what they are full of but it aint christmasy and it aint good cheer.

More generally, shit man, we live in a crappy world. I've lived through depression, i call it 'My Finest Hour' smile.gif It was only a couple of years ago, fell out with all my friends, family, stopped going out, stopped eating, eventually stopped getting out bed. This was while i was in my 2nd year of uni. I had to be medicated in the end for a long time just to get me to complete my course.

Heh, but i'm still here and things get better, i started feeling better. Had some help and support from my family and my few surviving friends and i've come out of things well. I can tell you that (despite what you might have heard) life gets better, especially after you move out of your parents house and get your own place.

University is the way to go gentlemen, more fun than you can shake a stick at smile.gif

anyway i apologise for rambling on, i know most of you don't know me, so likely won't really value my opinion all that much, but thats okay.

Peace out gentlemen
Enjoy life while you can, you're a long time dead smile.gif
Lund

ps. i hate to say it but frohman is right, eating green shit is good for you and helps improve your mood, if you can't get green shit then some multivits will do.

I have absolutley no problems in my life. Nothing majorly bad like anything of what ive heard from you guys has ever happened to me. Mum and dad are fine and well, they havent split up, i get on with them and the rest of my family. I have never been depressed or self harmed. Dont think im bragging cos im not, i feel sorry for you guys.

(Replied late due to not reading Viking's post carefully)

Kinda feeling a bit pissed, because I ruined my reputation at my debate.
I was stuttering alot, I didn't think hard enough and didn't get to say my arguments, and most of all, I'm now known as a shy dumbass guy.
But we won the debate.
Yay!

I'm just scared that people might know me as a shy man and not be social with me.

edit:
Problem # 2 removed, because all I had to do was restart my comp.
How dumb of me.

Your best mate's boyfriend sounds a little paranoid blink.gif I don't really care if my girlfriend's mates say stuff like that, it's funny as hell tbh biggrin.gif But yeah, he probably feels threatened by your closeness to his girlfriend.
