I have a problem right nowwwwwww.
Finally found the problem with my mom. She assumes wayyyyyyyyy too much of what I do or what will I do or things I've done wrong. She won't pause and think at all. What a bitch. And, right now I am addicted to the computer playing a lot of 9dragons. But I'm not as addicted as my brother(22 year old guy who has almost no life) playing DOTA in Warcraft 3. He never eats, he ignores his girlfriend, he ignores everyone else. But, you see, he never gets in trouble. Even if he has done so much things that I can't even count them all anymore. Well I still remember some. He was playing DoTA and my mom comes in and asks her to buy something at a store. He just says "yes" and kept on playing. It was near my mother's birthday that time, and she said if he did the favor, that'll be his present for her. But, still my brother ignored her and kept playing. My dad arrived home and we didn't have dinner. So my dad, who is tired from work, goes out and buys the things. My brother on the other hand, was just getting ready to leave. He dressed very long just to look glamorous. But then he found out my dad was already buying the crap, he goes back playing dota. Now, after all this crap, he still didn't get in trouble. My parents remained nice to him. WHAT THE FUCK? When I play excessively, I get in trouble. I get in trouble all the time. My sister had to shout at me. What the fucking fuck is up with that shit?! I'm fucking annoyed. I mean cmon now. That's all my brother does. He never does chores, nor eats in time. Its as if he's not even a brother anymore. He's the oldest in the family. But me, I still wash the dishes, I still get good grades, I still eat my dinner right, and I'm the one getting fucking in trouble?! THAT IS FUCKING BULLSHIT. Fuck man. Why the fuck do they fucking do this to me?! bottom line: My parents don't get angry at my brother even if he ignores us. A complete stranger. BUT they get angry and insane at me even if I'm much closer to them. I never ignore them. Well here's some slightly pessimistic thinking: Maybe they gave up on him awhile ago, and the reason why they get mad at you for overplaying is because they don't want you turning out like him. To be honest, this makes most sense to me. I'm not saying what your parents are doing is right, because it isnt (it's complete bullshit), but I'm just trying to fight some justification for it. My advice: Don't lose your trust with them just yet. Go talk it out with your parents, although I suggest you speak to your dad first, since he doesn't seem to get mad as easily as your mother (reminds me of my family). Tell him the problems you are having and try to get an explanation out of him. It's only fair. |
