Ok, so I've been recently promoted to an officer rank (Ensign) and position in my NJROTC unit. Yay right? Not really. I got the gayest job ever. I'm the Academic Team Commander. Woop-de-fuckin do. I didn't get any of the jobs I applied for, and best of all, a fucking freshman took the rank/job I wanted (Master Chief Petty Officer of the Company). I get to master the art of the pencil! Holy fucking shit in a chicken basket.

Granted, Ensign is an officer rank and is higher than Master Chief Petty Officer of the Company, but I like the second option because it's more down to earth. But see, its not really the rank part I'm mad about, because either one is fine, but my job sucks. All we do is work on knowledge on the Navy and other test happy things and compete with other schools. Wonderful. I'm kind of a nerd but must you rub it in witht his faggoty shit? Fuck you, you stupid fucking assholes.

I'm sorry, but I really don't understand what NJROTC is, and what your job is about. Are you going to sit down on a desk all day and write???

Sorry to make it worse, but I'd like to know your problem and actually try to solve it.

JROTC means Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps. It's a military course/elective that you can take in high school if your high school has it. They come in Marine, Navy, Army, or Air Force flavors. I'm in an NJROTC unit, meaning Navy. The classes are taught by retired officers and other soldiers.

I'm a sophomore who just started in it this school year, and I was a lower ranking cadet for most of the year, but after taking and passing OCS (Officer's Candidate School), I'm now an officer. An Ensign (Naval equivilent to Second Lieutenant in the Army) to be exact.

And when I say job, it means jobs within the unit, like Sea and Land Training Team Commander, Orienteering Team Commander, Color Guard Commander, and others, but the gayest one that requires the least activity is Academic Team Commander, which I unfortunately got. For fuck's sake, I already write enough in my advanced classes, now I have to write some MORE. This sucks ass.
