Its called moving on, but this time you hafta pressure yourself to do so. Its a fast easy way to get away from those depressions.

Okay, for all you guys trying to get over a girl - yeah, it's a difficult task, and pretty painful too. I'm not talking only about break-ups, I'm also talking about the girl you always liked but you knew you never stood a chance. As a peer counsellor and someone with a little life experience, I can give you a few recommendations. Take it or leave it, it's up to you:

Don't take up a habit to try helping you through it (I mean stuff like smoking and drinking - I never used drinking as a way of coping, but smoking...well, it's costing me shitloads a week and has affected my endurance slightly). If you really want something to cost you a bomb without actually helping you sort out your problems, then a habit or addiction is your best bet.

Keep your friends close - if anything, they're the best people to turn to when things have gone down the pan. Sometimes, they can give the best advice for dealing with your situation, and if you have some really solid friends, they'll be there to drag you onto your feet if you go down.

Give it a while before you go into another relationship - a month, maybe two is good. I've watched rebound relationships and...well, it's incredibly messy when the end comes, and it can screw things up even more.

Now, I can say now, you're not the only ones having to deal with girls. I just finished my relationship, after things fell apart pretty rapidly and I realised that with a shitload of life-changing exams coming up, I do NOT need this kind of crap. Not now. So I think that it's best that it's finished. Just gotta get through it.

So remember the advice, and if you think you need something more solid, talk to a counsellor or therapist - or, failing that, your friends.
