I've spoken to a lot of people who own iPodsand not one of them can give any real reason how they are different from mp3 players. Are they just more fashionable or what?

Becuase they have a famous company on them, and alot of people have them.

like pig to the slaughter. humans are like sheep in nature, if the flock goes one way then it follows. alot of people buy Ipod. then many others buy ipods... its simple nature... i bought it because of the space it got... and the cheapness compared to some other i saw with the same space ... -------------------- |

Yup - I didn't buy it simply because I'm not so much into music I want to spend money to listen to it.
Nowadays, the free 512mb mp3 player I received free with a ready-built pc I ordered serves me fine - who goes for 10,000 hours before encountering their pc again to upload/change songs?? -------------------- |

I don't understand what you mean. Either a ) You are asking as to wether the UFO is friendly; it doesn't matter. b ) You are asking wether we are friends; that seems a bit out of context or c ) You are sarcastically asking whether I have any friends; that is just plain rude, but I have many and varied friends.
