 Damn... that sucks.. I love Cats too, you know. We had one that brought the flea plague onto our house but I still loved it. I'm sorry to hear that, mallic... may your Cat rest in peace. You're becoming a teenager. Resist or not, you WILL* become impatient and act differently from what you used to during your teenaged years, a. After a few years it cools down, but the teenaged years definately shape your future self.

Nah. LP has good songs, it's just way to easy to make fun at them Edit: Fuck. My best creature, just about to enter space, with a specially engineered spaceship 30% completed that I had spent an hour on, just was surgically removed from the galaxy. I suspect my brother for having something to do with this. HE admitted to deleting the ship because, after all, it didn't look done. NO SHIT? It was a work in progress, he even watched as I built it. And lots of the planets in the galxy suddenly have cell phase creatures in them. With war and suffering taking place in my own world, it feels sillly to be angry about this, but still. Well...I just spent 6 or 7 hours making that starship again, so yeah, absolutely. As I spent that much time with it, I feel I have to spread it to everyone so they can admire my work
for those with Spore, just search "Kuun Lan" in the space ship section. That's my ship. It's from Homeworld Cataclysm, one of the best Space strategy games ever made. |

here's a tip: get drunk. I'm serious, it could give things a new perspective
Other than doing something that is kinda illegal, I'd recommend reading books, listening to music, seeing movies, playing games, any of these, only they should be of top notch quality. That can spark creativity.A few good books: Ender's game series from Orson Scott Card. Awesome Scifi. Also Dune by Frank Herbert. Good movies: Lord of the Rings (even if you've probly watched it already. But try it back-to-back with the extended version  ) V for Vendetta.Good Music: A Perfect Circle, Tool, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Opeth. All of these are metal\alternative\progressive bands, with awesome quality. But for Opeth I'd recommend the Damnation album, as it is acoustic and a really "nice" album. The others are kinda...noisy. The swedes know how to growl, to say it like that. Games: SPORE! What better way to be creative than to create your own race from cell to space empire? Orange Box, for its combined awesomeness of Episode 2 (which rocks), Portal (which rocks), Team Fortress (which rocks), and Episode 1 and Half life 2 (which rocks). The narrative of the hl series is simply stunning, and I guarantee it'll make ideas spring to mind. I hope you'll check some of this out, you may even have listened to\played\seen some already. |
