Why can't people respect rock? Before school ended for summer we had a day where we played lots of music. Only thing was that everyone wanted techno and rap. When we put on rock songs everyone said "put on some real music!". We played two rock tracks, the rest was 50cent and DJ Something.

rock is cool and unforntuetly where i live almost no one likes rock so i get shot down all the time >_<. I also hate the type of music that people blair out of there cars that sounds like freaking circus music. i respect rap, but i respect hiphop more. tupac, fat lip, nwa, theyre all good in my understanding. in my opinion, hiphop is the punk rock of rap. alot of the shit i like is underground stuff cuz you cant find anything else thats good if its open to the public.

Yea, but i still fucking hate them. But their music is shitloads better then rap, the only music that i would call good would be music composed by a BAND, rap is just jibberish said along to some shit house beat. Against Me! is pretty rad, but I can't just listen to them for no apparent reason. I can only play their music and fully enjoy it if I am on a road trip or if everyone in the car is drunk so we all sing along. Against Me! is by far the best drinking music ever. And by the way, the best saying I've heard to date:

I hate fucking people who think they're soo god damn smart and waste their fucking time posting a long argument for something so simple as someone putting "Don't Click" on a flash video to get people curious. Then they shoot down anyone who doesn't want read it or tells them quit it. They keep trying to pick a fight or "intelligent argument" for something so fucking trivial.
