I installed it properly to Valve/steam/steamapps/Username/Half life(I downloaded the server version) and Steam has it in Third Party Games. However when I click to play it I see a standart Steam HL menu(with Gordon), I can't change the models to BB and can't start a working server.

why on earth did you download the server version?

Other mods also have server versions and they work...

Other mods may have packed everything in the server package... I stripped the stuff a server doesn't need.
