Hi all!
I have a problem with BrainBread which might be tricky. See, after I have installed "Half-Life 2 german uncut", the language used by "Steam" became "German" and unfortunately it started downloading a censored *.gcf for Half-Life 1, although I had an uncut version before. Since Valve wasn´t much of a help I tried to find out how to force HL1 to use original models and blood-details and not those of the censored gcf. I wrote an e-mail to someone who was successful and helped me: I´ve created a folder named "hluncut", put in the model- and dll-folder of the original "halflife.gcf" and a modified "violence.cfg" and finally started the game with the commands "-game hluncut" - and it worked! HL1 was uncut again. After that, I installed BrainBread, but as I expected, there were no human marines... just those ugly robots from "Half-Life (german)". My question is: Can I force BrainBread to use the marine-model instead of the robot-model? I hope, someone can help me. |

Find the human grunt models from your Half Life 1 "models" folder, then copy & paste them to your Brainbread "models" folder. If that dont work then download some custom grunt models and put them in your Brainbread "models" folder. |
