Is it at all possible to run this mod without using Steam? I would just do things by the standard method, except I have some problems with Steam which are semi-complicated and unrelated. But if there's any way at all to run this off Steam, I'd really appreciate knowing how.

I don't know why so many people have a problem with steam, I've never had one, except for friends list, but big whoop.

I know for a fact that someone once ran a BrainBread 1.2 server on Won2. That's how I found out about the mod. But that was a while ago, and in the meantime I have been unsuccessful in getting it to work right on my lan.

Funny, could've sworn I was playing it on Empire's old server (or was it Deagle? They both do weird mods now and then). I must have been hallucinating or something; Half-Life's a helluva drug.
