I have HL2 and Steam, as well as the original HL. On steam I have HL:Source. I read in the installation guide that you need to have HL1 on steam, but I dont. Whenever I try to click Brainbread, it tells me to browse for the HL exe file. When i get it, it just opens HL instead of brainbread. What should I do?

Apparently, I have to install HL through steam. How do I do this? I already have steam and HL, i just need to put them together, or something. I tried moving the HL folder from the Sierra folder, into my steamapps, but that didnt work.

Alright. I got HL1 installed through Steam. I tried to reinstall Brainbread, and its doing the same thing. First it says it cannot load the exe, then it says i need to browse for it. When I do, it opens Half-life. What am I doing wrong? Should I re-download it?

You have a steam account, with halflife installed and resgistered. If the brainbread don't work you should uninstall and reinstall, maybe from another web host. Write again if it won't work...

Ok, first off uninstall the Half-Life that came from the CD, next make sure u can play HL1 on steam, next reinstall BB.
