3DS is one of the best modelers ever, As it also is made to make high def animations.

Read some of the modeling Tutorials they give you with 3DS, you can do WAY more than just simple old school modeling.

Work on the handle a bit. It looks all a bit too blocky.
Did you model with the plane-technique?
