I can create a listen server (run BrainBread & choose "Create a game"),
but can't run a dedicated server. Usually I would run "Dedicated Server" and choose the game type but I can't edit the drop-down list and it doesn't include BrainBread.

How do you create a dedicated server for BrainBread?

P.S. I have the server version of BrainBread 1.2, although I can't tell any difference at all between this and the client version.

Phew that was a big download (12mb).

This seemed to work for me:
  • Download and install the Dedicated Server from Steam - Tools

  • Go to your half-life folder: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\<your email/username>\half-life\

  • Control + C (Copy) the \brainbread\ directory

  • Go up one directory, and go into \dedicated server\

  • Control + V (Paste) \brainbread\ into \dedicated server\

  • Run hlds.exe or click on Dedicated Server in the Tools Category in Steam

  • Select brainbread from the drop down menu

  • Kill Zombehs!

Tell me if you have any problems.

I can help more in depth depending on what kind of server you want.

Do you want the DED that comes with STEAM, where it has the graphs and whatnot.

Or do you want the Non-Steam one that is just a Console?
