Military command, 2107 hours
13 miles from Mecklenburg City

A General stepped out of a limousine. He was around his late forties, and well dressed for the occaision. He'd obviously fought in many campaigns, as one scar across his face indicated.
Two soldiers escorted the general to a stairwell. They followed him up slowly, only two steps behind. As the General headed off through a door, the soldiers kept going upwards.
The General made his way down a long corridor, soldiers saluting him as he walked past, proud of his position as a General. He then stepped in to a control room and sat down.
"Sir!" a Colonel saluted the General. "Welcome back General Cortez, we're all glad you're here. At 1809 hours we received a distress signal from Mecklenburg hospital. Apparenty, a man named Michael Lee set off the distress beacon and is waiting for help in the hospital."
"What is the situation?" Cortez asked, a slight trace of a slur in his voice.
"A strain of what appears to be examined by the scientists there of Malaria. We received this information from the scientists. No-one's figured out its strain code yet."
The colonel handed Cortez some documents. Cortez read it through carefully, taking it all in. There was even an image of the bug on there.
"Apparently there is an antivirus but it only works for up to an hour before the bug becomes fully engaged. Passes through breath, contaigion, but never through direct contact, which we all found strangest. Oh, and through passing of blood.
"The bug can take about a whole day minimum to control you. It entirely depends on how strong your body is. Right now we have citizens evacuating the city and the military are sweeping the city. We are due for a missile launch in..."
Cortez looked at his watch. "Eight hours and forty eight minutes. Yes indeed. I received a call from the president this morning, and he said no infection is to pass out of the area. We do need to know the nearest cities just in case there is a chance of infection spreading out from Mecklenburg."
"Do you want the whole list?"
"Within twenty five miles, please."
The colonel clicked his fingers and pointd at a technician who got to his task immediately. He returned with a list of cities.
"In order of the nearest city," the colonel began, putting a pair of glasses on. "Heaven's gate, New York City, Westford, Easton, Northtown and Aylesford."
"Good." Cortez smiled. "Set them all under martial effect. This is not an order from me, this is an order from the president."
"Yes sir."
Cortez got up from his chair and walked away with two soldiers who followed him out.

Now that we got some cities expecting breakouts, this should make things more interesting.

There we go, almost had a zombie outrage in All Hell Unleashed Against Us then...

So much new material, I love it! So is heaven's gate still in the process of being infected?

Weather:39F,heavy rain

"Who are you?!" I shouted at the shadow.
"Rufus...." he replied.
"How do you know my name?!"
"Don't you remember who I am?"
He stepped a bit closer to me....
I can't believe it.... its Rudy!

"Do you recognize me? Look harder. Ignore my wounds--"
"Yeah yeah, I recognize you!" I interrupted.

"You little runt.... you ruined my plan, now you shall suffer!"
His right hand stretched in an impossible length..
"Humhumhum...... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
He striked his hand to me, but I dodged it.
I looked to see if I had any wounds around me.
"You missed!" I shouted to him.
"Think again." He replied.
I looked around once more, and saw my left shoulder. It was scarred.. I felt a bit weak, and coughed blood.
"My hand is poisonous.... seconds later you will mutate!"

That is all I heard from him.......
I fell to the ground.... feeling fatigue... I couldn't move my self......

"Attention all inmates," You speak down a speakerphone. "Quarantine lockdown is now in effect. Do not attempt to leave the building until the quarantine is over. We currently have military squads en route to the hospital to find us.
"If you are on levels fifty-one, eighty-nine or one, please evacuate those floors immediately and await further instructions. Quarantine lockdown is now in effect and it is critical you are armed.
"This message system is now under military command by Commander Walther Reyes and Captain Andrew Syria. If you do not like that, please feel free to speak now and jump out of a window before you hear the rest of my speech.
"You are all subject to evacuating to the chopper on the top floor. Level eighty-three is now unquarantined and air conditioning is now out of order. All inmates, military personnel and secondary units, head for level 100 for evacuation. Military personnel are now en route from New York, Heaven's Gate and Westford to pick us up in three hours. Commander Walther Reyes, out."
"Are you insane!?" Andy asks you. "You're gonna get me killed!"
"Without you they won't know how to fight the virus," You explain, switching off the speakerphone. "So, tell me about this 'virus'."
Andy then explains to you about the virus and its purpose. During his talk he explains to you about Malaria and the antivirus. He also tells you about the testing and the responsibility he was givel to keep the virus secret from military personnel.
You nod along to what he is saying. You then both load your guns and step in to a big cargo elevator with what appears to be samples of the 'Malaria' that started the trouble and seventeen doses of the antivirus.
The doors close in front of you as the elevator begins to head up...

Okay, after I posted, something happened... I made the objectives clear that everything has been unassigned and is to head for level 100, taking survivors as they go...

*Beep, Beep , Beep* i heard repeating itself over and over again, it was hard to use my eyes , they hurt, i felt like a pile of goo.
" you okay mr Frohman ? " i heard a pleasent female voice ask.
" could be better " i tried to say but it just got out as a sound coming from a drowning person.
"sigh, a helicopter going through a roof in a house downtown , a man with bitemarks on his arms and legs, and then you mr Frohman, you went through both physical and mental stress after whatever happened to you" she said.
" why cant i see ? " i asked, this time clear.
" as i said you went through both physical and mental stress, your eyes got worn out you could say, so you got bandage on them" she said as she took off the bandages.
" UGH " i moaned as she took off the bandages and bright light filled my eyes,
I loooked around to see where i was but to my dismay the room was gray with no windows, i looked at myself and saw that my suit had been replaced with a white t-shirt and white pants.
" the chief wants to talk with you " she said, signalizing me to follow her.
it was hard to walk , my body still feeling like goo, she said it was the anti-toxin.
she brought me to a room with alot of cameras and a big screen tv.
" just wait here. " she said while going out of the room.

The tv shut on and i saw a misshapen man, probably for me not to see who it was.
" Good Day Mr. Frohman, are you feeling any better ? " he said, the sound was raspy due to a program used mostly for pranks.
" lets cut right to the case shall we , i want you in my , lets say firm, one of my agents who were inspecting the case in Mecklenbourg gave good response to your ,aah, skills,,, " he said while snickering.
" whats in it for me ? " i asked while wondering who the agent was.
" well we are a 'firm' specialised in dealing with entities threatening mankind so lets just put it short. You get bounty money for the undead you kill, a large avaration of weapons , money from special tasks , and you get to give payback to the 'firm' that fucked with your life all since the days of U.B.C.S." he said.
payback against umbrella ? Money and free weapons ? my dream come true.
" so you in ?" he asked,
" well of course " i answered.
" great ! your first assignement will be in Heavens Gate, you will go into the base of our firm there and you will get more tasks from there on , hope to see you later "

99Th floor... I have gotta say, this is good. But... My fatigue feeling low, i was near the door and i was as fast as the zombies. That was bad...

However, I always kept a bottle of mount franklins water. As you thought, i drank it. I was feeling a bit better afterwards, meaning i could get through to the door. However, it was locked. I then knew that this was a puzzle of strength, to get out. I kicked the door open, and ran towards the helicopter. Then i got in...
