Gawd this'll be awesome.

I just watched 28weeks later and I have plentyful of material to be written.

Though I'll try not to copy the ideas straight off the movie itself, since, one reason is that the zombies are slow moving sloths on this one, and on the movie they're raged-driven cannibals or spitters that kill kill kill.

Much much better when it is, its more thrilling and louder and .... you'll just feel like your in the movie.

Right, I'm ending this RP. I've been waiting for ages to get some new ideas on how to finish, and I think I found enough. Anyway, I'll quit talking and get on with it:

Andy Syria

As you and Walther are being taken to Heaven's gate, you look up to see a familiar face. You can't see it's him for sure, but you dare not climb up the rope ladder just incase it is him.
Walther is already at the top of the ladder having his wounds treated. Your hands are blisteringly numb and you can't stand anymore of this crap. You're close to leaping off the ladder.
Walther looks down the ladder to check on you. "Hey, you okay?" he asks.
"Yeah I'm fine," you respond. "I'm guessing you are, besides being torn to pieces by that shark."
"I'm feeling better now," Walther says, unexpectedly. "Hey, since when did you care about me?"
"Since ever, Walther."
There is a short pause between you two.
But you proceed to speak. "Since ever."
Suddenly, the helicopter tilts on to its side...

Donn Baker

The Helicopter rotor at the back of the blackhawk you are in stops moving suddenly. You lean out of the gap to check whether or not it's a physical fault.
And bad goes to worse: It is.
The chopper rotor has managed to jam itself somehow. You are now flying straight down towards a village in the outskirts of Heaven's Gate, uncertain that you will live. All of a sudden, you are forced out of the helicopter, but manage to grab the bar without any trouble.
Then it does get worse. Walther, the infected one, slips out too. You managed to grab his blood-soaked hand, and in an act of desperasy, you manage to force your way back in to the helicopter.
But you drop Walther, who goes tumbling towards the sandy desert-like plain below...

Walther Reyes

Despite being injured, you manage to get up, although you are dizzy. You slowly walk over to a man who looks back at you, horrified.
"You got a bandaid...?" You ask him.
"Errr..." he stammers for words. "No, but... I can... grab you a towel..."
You continue walking close to him until you are really close. You suddenly feel an act of desperasy as to chew straight through the man's flesh. He grabs your head and stabs you with a pitchfork, trying to make you let go.
The last thing you see are your own blood, a big black boot, and the man walking away, in critical pain.
It's all in black and white. Newspaper Syndrome, you mutter. Unable to use your eyes to look or your muscles to move...
...you just lay there, helpless.
Dead.

Rufus Stockton

Suddenly, you feel an adrenaline rush. You run outside the door, remembering something that happened. Tom is already in town, and you need to find him.
A taxi runs down the street. You call for it, and it stops to let you in.
"5th Avenue," you speak. "Downtown..." and the cab is off in seconds.
Five minutes later, you are at the cafe downtown. You pay the man with a five dollar note and rush out of the cab, gun in jacket and in desperate search of Tom.
You walk in to the cafe you parked close to, and open your mouth to say, "can I have a coffee please?"
"Coming right up," the waiter at the desk acknowledges. "We serve fresh breakfast, would you like something?"
"Can I have a hot dog?" you speak, getting out your wallet to pay.
"Sure," and the waiter is off to get you what you ask for.
In the mean-time, you glance at someone sitting at a table nearby, eating a bacon sandwich and taking a sip from a glass of water. You walk over slowly.
"Hey," you attract his attention.
He looks up at you slowly.
"Mind if I sit here...?"

Gordon Frohman

"No sure," you say to the man. "Sit down."
The man sits down in front of you.
"Name's Gordon," you say, offering a hand. "Gordon Frohman."
The man shakes your hand. "My name's Rufus Stockton," he introduces himself. "You seen a man in here?"
"Yeah, there are tons."
"Not that kind... I mean, a specific man. His name's Tom."
"Yeah, right... sorry, I don't really know any Tom."
Rufus takes out a picture of Tom. "This guy," he points out to you, annoyed.
"Right..." you respond. "No, have you looked?"
"Last I checked, he said he was going to pick up his wife. I don't think I can remember where his wife actually works... after all that happened in Mecklenburg."
Mecklenburg. "You were a survivor?"
"Yeah, but I got caught up. I was supposed to clear the area for something."
BOOM!
The ground shakes. It's obvious what has happened.

Out on the streets, you and Rufus are there to see an ultrasonic wave blast Mecklenburg in to pieces. The city is completely vapourised, just dust and that's it.
"Oh my god..."
You peek to look at your watch. 6:03 AM. You'd seen it on the news, Mecklenburg was due to become a wreck.

Ben Price, 3 hours earlier[/i]

We are just outside Mecklenburg, the home of millions of men, a city once known for its peaceful endeavours. But now, it's nothing. Just a graveyard, and because of one man. We curently have a man in custody, whose name shall not be disclosed for safety reasons. However we will say this: If you know who let out this disasterous plague, call now, urgently. The number is on screen, and if you know anything - ANYTHING - then please, don't hesitate to call. I'm Ben Price reporting live from ABC news. ba-k t- -he st-d-o-

[b]Military Base, Eight minutes before the explosion

The colonel had just got off the phone to the President. He stepped out of his office and towards another door labelled Control Room. He stepped in, the doors opening and closing automatically.
"Sir!" a Lieutenant saluted. "We just finished calibrating the missile, ready for launch."
"Great. Now then, I want this thing underway immediately. I've obtained the codes from the President, allow me to insert them."
The Lieutenant ushered the colonel to a seat. He then proceeded to input a series of numbers in to a keypad.
"Lieutenant, I'll give you the honour of pressing the last button."
The Lieutenant looked at the colonel for a few short seconds. The colonel nodded, and the Lieutenant pushed the final button labelled EXECUTE.

Michael Lee, Three minutes before the Explosion

You are now at the helipad of the hospital. The helicopter is fuelled up and ready. With you are a few survivors, the security guard and yourself, a survivor is starting the chopper. Everyone is clean of infection.
You are flying out of Mecklenburg city, fast. You take a peek at all the sites you see. The river. The hospital. The streets... and all of them are laid to waste.
You're heading for Heaven's Gate, hopefully to start fresh and forget about the mess you were in.
You look outside the window. It's all over in the final minute.
Mecklenburg.
Gone.

Crushed under tons of rubble.
