You know, I just now thought about it, but if the coding isn't done, doesn't that make it more in the alpha stages than the beta stages?

Alpha, beta, whatever! Ya'll make it so damn complicated. Let me sum up all this shit into simple words:

Internal Release
Public Release

See? It can be said so easily! But noo, it has to be beta, or alpha, or echo, or charlie, or what not. Friggin people these days. (I am one of them too, roflz)

What I really was asking for was the mod to be available for download, whatever state it ended up in! I was being a bit negative in thinking that the mod was never gonna be finished because of the wrongly perceived infighting, splits and 4month stalls in progress.

I now realise that things are no where as bad as I imagined so am happy to wait and even pay for the finished, polished mod!

All I ask is that if it does get abandoned (unlikely as that may be) that you release the private/internal/personal/secret beta/alpha/gamma that you have been playing.

Cant wait....

The staff will NOT release Brainbread: Source until it is absolutely complete. If they released the internal mod, it wouldn't be internal; It would be external. And as Keyes said, it'll come when it comes.

I kinda understand Fred. If BB was to be canceled, and everyone decides they won't work with it anymore, it would have been fair to release whatever they had made. BUt if they are still on the job I can wait for the release.

Even though the 4months of non working on the bbs project could it still be released this year or is that too soon...

Thanks eliteviking, thats what I meant. There was another zombie mod (can't remember the name of it for the unlife of me) that ended up with just the original developer, all others had deserted him. He released what they had worked on for x amount of years and it was quite good for unfinished.
But again, this mod hasn't bitten the dust so it's a moo point anyway; I just wanted to put my 2ps worth in.
