I understood what you said completley, but they dont have any urge to infect humans, just feed on them. Infection is just a side effect. It is nothing like the zombies version of sex. Pwnt, but still gordon, don't get angry like that again. We're just having a discussion. But anyway, I mean evolution in the sense that they are learning to adapt to the situation. If they can do that, that "evolving" in such that they are getting slightly smarter, is not so far fetched. It is quite possible, since part of the brain in a zombie is still functioning.

true it is far fetched and completely different from most theorys but think about it... in the end what drives any creature to do anything? its obviously not hunger that causes zombies to attack people since they have no need for food... they have to have some reason to attack people... so think about this... if you look into the different animals of the world they all have different ways of reproduction, all of which is drived through some sort of desire. so why would zombies be any different? why would they have no such desire to reproduce?

This all goes back to how zombies were created. One of the orginal theories that came from Romero's movies was just one simple word. Radiation. That helps explain a lot of things. Figure it out, you'll get what I mean. |

no i really dont get what your saying at all... radiation? what does that have to do with sex drive theory or increased zombie intellegence? (not sure which one you are referring it to)

Yeah man please just explain what you mean by your radiation comment.
There is no reason why zombies feast upon humans, it is not like a sexual urge. The undead are driven to kill and devour any living creature they discover. These are not romeros theories, i dont like them. You guys should read some of max brooks work. Read the zombie survival guide. -------------------- |

there is no reason? see that fails to explain anything... the whole point of this conversation at this point is to explain why they do it so saying there is no reason isnt really an option here.... so if nothing else my explanation is better than your non existent explanation...
also im not saying that zombies feel the need to bite people because its a sexual drive so much as im saying that they have an urge to bite people that is naturaly in them which is in them for the soul purpose of reporduction. in otherwords the reason they bite people could be whatever you want more or less... but whatever reason you decide was built in them for the purpose of reproduction. so in the theory that they are hungry. You cant ask a question like, why are zombies driven to tireless devour the living! And yes you can settle on the fact that no one has a theory for it. Its like asking are we alone or the meaning of life. Its what makes zombies so cool, how mysterious they are. Oh and the undead cannibalism part.
