Dances suck. This is my Junior year in highschool now that im on military leave for about 2 years :/
No I didnt get held back, I was taken into the marines by choice, and i told my principal i would come back first chance. So now im a junior (but i did go to military academy so im pretty much smarter than most of the people in high school) I cant find a single date for the dance... Its pathetic, since (supposedly) im a very attractive person, according to some people. I dont know if I have a crappy personality or what but ive asked 10 people and all of them have said no, except one said MAYBE the next dance. Question: is it imperative that you take a girl to the dance? For the leavers' ball at my school, most of my friends - and, come to think of it, a substantial portion of the year - went on their own. Granted, I went with two girls (I REALLY don't know how I pulled it off, probably 'cause I went with them as friends).
I might not have a good view of how the whole going-to-the-dance thing works in Los Estados Unidos, so maybe it is a big deal if you don't go with a girl. Is it? --------------------  |

Dances can be fun. It is only fun for me if I go with a group of friends. Because, honestly, going just with a date is dull and boring. Just my two cents.

the only one i will even consider going to is senior prom (and then good sense will kick in and ill stay home to play Brain bread source) --------------------
