Kind of, but if you haven't seen what todays U.S. Military's snipers use for a sniper-rifle, boy is the firepower on just one shot deadly.
One shot to the shoulder can blow the shoulder, neck, and lower side of your jaw right off. And the impact is so hard, a guy climbing a mountain wouldn't stand a chance against a US sniper. You should look it up in YouTube or ThatVideoSite.com They got some sweet as videos of what a sniper can do to its targets ~Craka_J -------------------- |

btw the reason the crossbow in hl1/2 is so strong is because the bolts are depleted uranium
 Hell I wouldn't mind some potassium tipped rounds (pure potassium ignites when in contact with anything liquid, so once it hits the blood the person would be ignited) --------------------

Hehe I've heard of those bullets - they sound nasty! The sniper you're talking about is (I THINK) the Barrett M95 .50 calibre rifle. Shoots a big lump of something 854 metres/second from the muzzle, so If you're a kilometre away, less than 2 seconds later and you're toast. Aparently they call it an "anti-material" rifle - it can shoot through a solid engine block and still kill somebody the other side I think I read somewhere that the European Union would refuse to use the .50 BMG bullet because it's more deadly and causes more suffering than smaller bullets... More "human rights" abuse? --------------------  |

lol its in our constitution YOU WILL HAVE GUNS RAWR!
I think its funny, you can with a well placed shot, shoot down an airplane with a berret 50 cal, and in most states you can buy them from gun stores. Also I'd rather see a dragonuv sniper rifle in the game --------------------

Lol do they really sell those at average gunshops? That's not a very good idea... though yeah, the firepower is nice.
Any sniper in the game that blasts the target open and even sounds powerful is good for me. [Edit]: Will zombies be able to hit you or climb objects, even if you're standing on top of a table, box, etc.?
