Its hard to cut through bone with a knife.... so no, you couldn't cut off someone's hand.

Edit: Becuase your fat, doesn't mean you can kick a skinny persons ass.

nikku a knife is the worst weapon you could come across in personal combat. You don't need to be strong to use a good knife, and once you stab or cut someone, knife wounds are a pain to sew up. If they get you in the stomach your intestines can fall out, and you most likely will die. I would rather be shot at then go into a knife fight, at least with a gun there is a chance of disarming the person, but with a knife they can cut you up about 9 times before you can get close enough

People were doing basic knife training and this guy slipped and cut off someone else's hand off. Kabars are very sharp, and frankly you arent gonna find many other knives sharper than it other than hand sharpened ones. I often have 2 Kabars with me at all times.
