Mmh... that´s strange, because the maps aren´t much different (technically) from the DOD ones. The r_speeds are normal and i also used normal sized textures. Perhaps the vehicle are the problem or the soundtrack? (if not deactivated...)

soundtrack ist clientside... And vehicles are also just entitys... hmm I dunno what it could be

I haven't seen a DoD server running with 16 ppl. May give it a try, just downloaded the 1.0 linux server. See how it compares. I may also compare it to a CS server, although I know they definately perform better.

Do you guys have your own Linux server on which you can monitor the performance with 16 ppl? Like to know some data of other servers. Maybe we can figure out what's going on.
Any of you on ICQ by any chance?

I will most likely be setting up a 20 person 2400mp amd, 1g ram, dule nic, on a OC3 network line, in about a week or 2 in L.A. CA.
