 Why this hype over 512MB memory?Not meaning to sound proud at all, but I have 320MB on my card, and I the lowest frames per second I ever experience on counter-strike source at 1280x1024 is low 200s. 512MB cards never really took off because performance suffered because of the amount of memory. A 512 card such as the 7300GT or even 7600 does not have the capacity to use anywhere near 512MB of its memory - its bandwidth is limited by the cheap, shoddy memory companies slap on them to get the the 512 mark rather than higher quality 256MB. Think about it - the highest priced 7600 comes with only 256MB onboard. --------------------  |

8600 is a solid performer for high-end graphics
 Can't really go wrong for that - it gives a load more performance for your money than the 8800. But why is it that the 7600 GTX OC KO XXX EIEIO is higher priced than an 8800 GTS? -------------------- |

2 8500GTs on SLI aren´t that expensive and proove quite good and as i´ve said, won´t hurt your pocket to much

i may make a mini atx computer which A. will be cheaper B. more portable and C. easier storage
