(I just leave my windows open - the neighbours aren't so happy )Granted, you lock yourself in your sound-proof room, but you set off the intruder alarm, activating the vaccum pump. All your stuff slides back into the walls, and a big plasma screen unfolds accross one wall, counting down the 60 seconds untill the room is completely evacuated. Panicking, you launch at the door, but the handle is now reccessed from the alarm no matter how you scratch and tear at it your fingers can't get a purchase on it. The timer hits 45 seconds and you feel your eardrums painfully shift as you sprint to the windows, desperately grabbing at the handles, but the pressure difference is unfortunately now too great for you to open them. The timer clicks down to 20 seconds and it's very hard to breathe the thin air, now you resort to screaming and trying to break the 3 inch thick soundproofed glass with your chair (hey, you wished for it ). 10 seconds... Your veins start to expand in your arms and face, coming the the surface of your soaking wet skin (the water in the air has condensed on the windows, no-one can see you. Your eyes and nose leak blood down your face, and you feel incredible pressure on your eyeballs.0 seconds - You've collapsed in agony on the floor, gasping and choking for air, while violently thrashing in hypoxic seizures, Your vision fades away from the edges. This was not a good way to die. I wish for a soundproof room with inwards-opening windows ^^ -------------------- |
