Hi
Don't have a screenshot of it, but I've seen the case being droppen "into" several medium walls (up to the hips of a playermodel). I think it's possible to do this with pretty much every wall of that height.

i think we only should fix the origins from the case so the players cant drop it in a wall

Well...that's what i was trying to say.... you can place the case "in" medium sized walls (i know its not "illegal" to place them on top of em).

That´s strange. This bug should be fixed. Mmh.. i think Spin used the wrong Mapfile or the case is not able to be clipped by a object-clip-entity.

I know this is kind of off subject but, 1 thing I thing should be done is be able to change guns even if you have the case because you will not have to drop it/be able to. that would take out this prob with hide the case. kind of how in counter-strike with the bomb. Just a idea.

but to the thing with the case, i would say like hobgoblin said, that you can use a handgun if you have one, or that a beretta or any weak pistol is lying on the case, so that when you pick up the case, in the left hand you have the case (and can attack with it like with a knife.. or not wink.gif) and in the right the pistol..


ok my english suckz, so if it cant be understood, here once again in german:
aalso, später post ich ne position wo man den koffer hiwnerfen kann mit screens. man kann die posi zwar erreichen aber nur verbunden mit einigem an hp-verlust. und ich würd das mit dem koffer entweder so machen wie hobgoblin es sagte, das man ne 1handwaffe wie seburo, uzi oder pistole benutzen kann, oder das eine beretta oder eine andre schwache pistole auf dem koffer drauf liegt. also sobald man dann den koffer aufsammelt, trägt man den automatisch in der linken hand, und benutzt ihn wie im moment schon so wie ein messer (aber schwächer würde ich sagen. weiss nicht ob der im moment schwächer ist, attackiere nicht wirklich oft mit dem koffer *g*), und in der rechten hand hat man eben die ebretta oder andre pistole. (dann eben linksklick is schlag mit dem koffer, und rechtsklick schuss mit der pistole, oder umgedreht) aber dann auch so dass sobald man den koffer wegwirft, hat man die beretta/pistole nichmehr und sie leigt wieder beim koffer, klar.

So, also es gibt eine Stelle auf die man den Koffer werfen kann in de_cybercon, zu der man nur mit hohem verlust an hp hinkommt.
Also ich bezweifle dass es noch einen andren weg gibt dort hin zu kommen.
Und zwar diese Stelle (ganz oben wenn man die Leitern hochgeklettert ist):

Den einzigen Weg den ich jetzt gefunden haben, der wäre etwas weiter unten. Um aber auf die "Plattform" mit dem Koffer zu springen (Bild 3) verliert man schonmal über 50hp. dann noch um runterzukommen (Bild 4) verliert man nochmal über 10hp.
Das ist zwar keine unerreichbare Stelle, aber wie ich finde doch recht unfair, eben wegen des hohen hp-verlustes.

i agree with tmmays post about weapon switching, the case should only take one hand to carry. so if you have a shotgun u cant use it, but any pistol would work and if u had dual uzi the have only on uzi out or something. i dunno, i have always noticed that. late.
