I think the risk is pretty small for black holes to appear, stabilize and then suck up the galaxy. Granted, the chance is there for creation of black holes, but they disappear as fast as they appear.
Anyways, there is no risk whatsoever now at least. Currently, they are only sending the hadrons one way, they are not beginning the collisions for some time yet. And that's when things could get nasty. After all, those particles will eventually have the energy of a freight train weighing a few hundred tons going 200 kilometres an hour  |
