7 years ago America experienced the worst terrorist attack ever to be done against us.

20 some-odd terrorists hijacked a 747 and crashed it into the World Trade Center

Many died, ever since, September 11th has been a day to remember the people that died that day, and to pray for our soldiers protecting our country from another attack.

I know some of you people from other countries may not know about it, care about it or even read this thread.

That's okay, you're not here and you neednt bother yourself with it.

But for the ones of us that are in America, please join me in praying for the soldiers and remembering that fateful day.

Or not, its up to you.

Um, just like to point out that EVERYONE lost people on that day - over 90 countries lost people to that attack. So if wasn't just YOUR country that got royally fucked by people who were told they would please their God by killing thousands of innocent people by getting themselves killed.

I'd pray for them, but I never had any faith in that kinda thing. My thoughts are with those who suffered from losing those who died and those who are still missing, though.

I can't begin to believe how the many families of those who were killed on 9/11 feel. My thoughts are with them. I'm not religious but i would pray to God now if it meant i could help spare the families of any suffering they have had to endure.

Sorry, had a few to drink so maybe over-reacted on that score. My second paragraph still stands, though. Poor bastards.

Oh for fucks sakes IT HAPPENED YEARS AGO GET OVER IT. On the scale of really bad things it is not really that high up. It did not really fuck us over in the long run, and oh no people died!!! Deal with it people die every day. You know how many monuments WE have destroyed in iraq? How many people WE have killed? It's not like they nuked us, they destroyed 3 buildings. Its not like they did what WE are doing to them.

No matter how tragic and disguisting an event is, it should be forgotten because it was in the past? How arrogant is that comment, 9/11 isn't just about death, it's also about strangers coming together to try and salvage the best from hell on earth. Such an aggressive attack on innocent people working/travelling minding their own business is shocking, people jumping from windows to end their own life because they're suffocating/being burnt. Also, didn't you babble on alot about IRA/Irish fighting with the British, that was years ago.

QUOTE

Maybe so, but this is not a competition.

QUOTE

It doesn't matter if it didn't screw over your country in the long run, what's that to do with anything? If a member of your family was killed by a terrorist and it had no repercussions on anybody, does this mean that their death was unimportant? I seem to remember your cat dying and you was upset, obviously; but thousands of people endure horrible deaths and oh well?

QUOTE
You know how many monuments WE have destroyed in iraq?

We? what we? Also, know how many Iraq monuments have been destroed by Iraqs.

QUOTE
How many people WE have killed?

Yeah, this is also a bad thing but in no way connected to 9/11 and in war there are casualties.

QUOTE
It's not like they nuked us

Huge object full of explosive fluids travelling at high speeds towards a civilian building, not too far off to be honest.

QUOTE
they destroyed 3 buildings

Three buildings full of peoples fathers/mothers/children/sisters/brothers/lovers, etc.

QUOTE
Its not like they did what we are doing to them.

No, they just wandered in to a country they despise, steal that countries planes and crash those planes into that countries civilians and murdered them with no problem.

9/11 was a tragic day and my heart goes out to everybody affected by this and especially the families of those lost.

I bilieve in some of them conspiracy theories. Mainly becuase they give alot of proof such as the melting temperature of the steel beams in the towers etc. But no matter what i think i can't change what happened.

My post will probs be deleted for sharing conspiracy theories that could put them in the shitter if you get me sad.gif

Ok, just to get things clear:

There is no conspiracy. To take away the argument once and for all: The Steel Beams didn't MELT. Jet fuel burns with a high temperature, but not that high. Even so, the steel beams were severly weakened. Also, if they had MELTED, the entire building would have collapsed like a tower were the supporting beams were jell-o. What happened according to the official studies were that the planes hit the buildings, ripped off the heat isolating material covering the beams, and slowly made the temperature rise. After some time, one of the beams were weakened enough that it began to crumple. And now, you've got to realise, the whole building is under massive stress, and when one part of it starts falling down, there is nothing to stop it. As it begins to fall it the kinetic energy gets insane high, and nothing man has created cna stop that kind of force. So it collapsed.

*whispers* may I have my money now mr CIA man? Ok, thanks.

I feel sorry for those who lost someone, but sadly, the terrorist attack was used to justify a war on terror that in many ways has made the world a far worse off place. For one, the insane costs of the war. I don't have the exact numbers, but the foreign debt USA has acquired over the last few years is huge. If USA doesn't do something, and soon, its postion as world super power is up for grabs.

Elite Viking, i'v watched many documentaries about 9/11 and i can tell you that one of the towers did infact collapse as you said. This may be due to the fact that there we explosions inside the building. And if you have watched things yourself you'll know that explosions where caught on camera coming from inside the building.

Lets stop talking about this now please. Like close topic or something, it will cause confrentation between our forum members as we all bilieve in different things.

Mallic if thats the way you feel why dont you just go over to Iraq and help plan another terrorist attack. Pearl Harbor was also years ago but in December there is "Nation Pearl Harbor Rememberance Day" and that was 66 years ago (i think)

9/11 was only 7 years ago, and just because death happens every day doesn't mean we should forget about it.

If you think like that then you also must think its pointless to teach kids about history, World War 1, World War 2, Vietnam War etc. because that was death as well, so lets just forget about it then, right?

Dont tell me thats not what you were saying because its the exact same thing.
