 Doom Trooper  Group: Members Posts: 1189 Joined: December 18, 2004  |
GISD (my school district) does a "Fall Stringfest" every year where the top orchestra (violin, viola, cello, string bass) from all the schools in the district meet and play (seperately of course)
and, I am in Advanced Orchestra, which combines with Honors to form our top group meaning I will be going... Today Just fyi, goin in about an hour, give or take -------------------- -=U.N.C.L.E=- David

A little late but good luck! And, congrats!

Yea, but we dont play crappy boring songs
and tbh its more fun to play than it is to listen which is why i like it Viola = least commonly known orchestral instrument Me = Violist (NOT VIOLINIST!!) Yes, violas are string instruments. They're smaller, and can play higher chords than violins (amirite?). Anyways, good luck David! |

I'll be sticking to my violin mate. Viola sounds like a pasta dish (just kidding don't kill me lol)
Sounds fun man. Sting instruments are awesome to play. You should take up playing a violin so you can do devil went down to georgia. --------------------

the viola is BIGGER and plays LOWER notes (it has the C G D and A strings, violin has G D A and E (higher!!!)) lol i could play Devil went down to Georgia I would just have to go higher up on the A string lol -------------------- -=U.N.C.L.E=- David
