When I was younger I collected old coins. I was looking at them last night and found alot of really old coins and football medallions. But, significantly I found a coin which was 254 years old!

It's a Farthing 1754 George II British copper.

(Mine is very worn, but what can you expect of 254 years. tongue.gif I've read on wikipedia that they are very rare)

Another one which is quite good is a 1900 Victoria one penny.

(Mine is mint condition still and is still silver and clean, I've seen no others on the internet close to my coins condition)

Would anybody have an idea on the value?

Nothing. In fact, you usually pay people to get rid of those darn things for you. Me being a gent and all, I can take them from you free of charge.

j/k tongue.gif

I have no idea really, but you could probably fetch a nice sum from something that old. How the hell did you come across coins like that anyways?
