Think about it! Somewhere around 20 years ago, the first Games were made or something. The graphics were really sucky, and so was gameplay, but it must have been great back then!
Now look at the games of today - Jesus! Awesome graphics, awesome gameplay AND not to mention games with more gore *Ahem* DEAD SPACE and Fallout 3. Now think of what games are gonna be in another 20 years! Maybe we wont even need game controllers! All games can be DOWNLOADED onto the hard drive which could help! FREE Internet and being able to buy games online like with Steam! Unimaginable graphics - A G36C or something else to use in shooting games! Anyone else got any ideas of what may happen to games in 20 years? One thing we gotta hope for is that they dont die out.... |

I bet it won't, I bet it'll advance so much that we won't know what's real. So scared I am.

Yeah... I mean come on, we've already got Wii60 - thats a conversion of 2 consoles together... sort of. AND GIMME SOME OF THAT CRACK! |

I wish I can, but I've smoked it all.
 I really want the devs to fulfill what they did on the Killzone 3 trailer, which was nothing but raw cutscene CG. I don't think the one in development right now doesn't look as close as the one we saw on those trailers....  And also, I wish they get to do those games where WE are the players in the game itself. Much like, tron but not life-threatening. Good ol' safe gaming, you know? It was quite bit more than 20 years but yeah... :_P
I can tell you what will happen 20 years from now, hugely annoying DRM (yes more than now), prices will be the same, the internet will be restricted and your isp will track your every move, graphics will be real like but interaction will still depend on controllers of some sort. |

Luciel's prediction is a huge possibility, it'll be easier for you to be tracked on the internet and some games can probably be more restrictive than normal.
I'd really want like, a zombie simulation, where you're the player yourself and you're in a huge city, then you have to fight the zombies coming at you. Now that, is awesome. Its borrowed nintendos idea of online avatars for your account ala wii mee's, it looks quite good, you can rent full movies and hd movies for as little as 3 quid!

Congrats mate!
As for me, I'm really getting into Starcraft because of the upcoming Starcraft II game which will be even better than the first. But it took Blizzard 10 years+ to make a sequel to one of the greatest games to ever grace this world. I just really hope they don't get rid of the older models from Starcraft 1, much notably the Goliath, the Dragoon, corsairs and scouts, etc. -------------------- Current game(s): Uh uh not updatin' this no mo
