i just bought it after work ( ive been installing a warmth pipe system at a house )

and now when i got home i took a big dump ( woot those iron supplements sure works their magic)

and imma gonna play like 1 hour before i have to write a report

I don't understand RE at all.

I remember RE1 being in a house :S

RE 2 I started in a town.

Only played Nemesis a tiny bit.

RE 4 a random village somwhere.

Now 5 is where africa or something?

How does this all happen :S ~Anyone got like a storyline timeline for it?

Ok I'll give you a quick rundown.

RE1 Chris and Jill's Squad where sent into a forest to search for a missing team of STARS members. They where attacked in the forest by Cerberus dogs, so they ran into the Mansion to hide from the dogs.
Inside they where attacked by experiments that Umbrella produced that had excaped into the forest and neerby town.
This started the T-Virus outbreak... Leading to..

RE2
Leon signed up with the Raccoon City police, before the Virus outbreak.
He just arives in Raccoon and notices that the entire town is overran by Umbrella's Mutants. He finds Claire how came to Raccoon to look for Chris her brother.
They start at the police station where they hope to find Chris or somone their to help them leave Raccoon. They learn that the police station is actually owned by Umbrella, and discover an access route to an Umbrella Corp lab.

RE3
Jill is still in Raccoon after the RE1 accident.
She decides to leave Raccoon and fight her way out of the city.
Here she meets Carlos and they both try to excape Raccoon before the American goverment nukes the city hopeing to clean out any infection.
Here they meet Nemesis a Tyrant veriant that Umbrella hopes is their ultimate creation, right now all Nemesis is programed to do is kill STARSSSSSSSSSS! But gets killed by Jill insted.

RE4 Leon after surviving Raccoon join the US goverment and is sent on a mission into Europe to find the Presidents missing daughter who is an annoying brat that noone but the president likes.
Anyhow Leon finds the place teeming with experiments akin to the Raccoon outbreak.
Soon discovering that Umbrella East (Europe's Umbrella) has found a parasite that can be controled. ( La Plagas Creating obeying NOT-Zombies that have intelect but lack any human control)

Resident Evil Remake was a remaster of RE1 for Game cube.
Looks great rivals RE4 graphic wise.
Closest to a remaster of RE3 would be Umbrella Chronicles.
As much as I would love to see 2 remastered it hasn't been done or talked about.
Also @ Gordon_Frohman Sorry only got 360.

Well somone I know spoiled RE5 ending, mainley becuase I forced them after they said it was 'poo' and was soo far off what a resident evil should be like. He also said the gameplay of Wesker was soo bad, you could literally run around him without being hit.

Edit: Did Jill die? And do the movies have anything to do with the games, other then the obvious Racoon city?

Can you very naughtily get a emulater and play the RE's on your computer
