Hello

i have a problem using Metamod with PE.
I have an Rootserver ( Celeron 2,1GHz, 256MB, Linux 8.1 ) an Counter-Strike runs with no Probs.

So i like to play PE because it´s a great Mod.

I installed a new server with another directory. Updated this to 3111b3 and install pe_1.0.0 (actuell Server). If i start the server with:

screen -dms -c ./hlds_run -game penemy +ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx +port 27020 +exec autoexec.cfg (map is pe_bladerunner )

It works fine.

Now i installed Metamod1.16 make changes in the liblist.gam and starts server again, it looks like ist works fine but now i wanted to change a map via hlsw to any db map. And then the server died with following message.

see debug.log and this

./hlds_run: line 119: 22586 Segmentation fault (core dumped) $HL $*

So i think that all. Can anybody help me?

Ok I had tried it. But I don´t think that will work, because the fix ist only a new pe_i386.so and that is taken out by installing Metamod.

Or is it wrong to edit this line in the "liblist.gam"?

gamedll_linux "dlls/pe_i386.so" to
gamedll_linux "addons/metamod/dlls/metamod_i386.so"

metamod uses the pe_386.so file, it just parks itself in front it so that it can act as a traffic cop...
